This can be a home-based position; however, candidates must reside within a 2-hour commuting distance of Columbus, Ohio, or Charleston, WV for occasional in-person collaboration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Design and implement cloud security architectures and solutions. Monitor and analyze cloud security systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for cloud environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Work with application development teams to provide cloud security as a service, with a shift left mentality. Collaborate with application development teams to deliver cloud security as a service, emphasizing a shift-left approach. Provide guidance and support for incident response and recovery efforts. Leverage automation technologies to enhance security measures, streamline threat detection, and improve incident response efficiency. Stay up to date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, preferred. Minimum 5+ years with cloud security experience. Proven experience in cloud security engineering, with a focus on AWS and Azure. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and industry standards. Experience with security tools and technologies such as NGFW, XDR, WAF, CNAPP, DSPM, and CSPM. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, and Azure Security Engineer Associate are a plus.
