Overview

Flexjet, the second-largest private aviation company, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our IT department as a Cloud Security Engineer at our state-of-the-art facility in Cleveland, Ohio or Dallas, Texas office. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will work as part of a team to help ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of our organization's Hybrid Environment, with a primary focus on our digital assets. Responsibilities

Identify and communicate security control gaps in our cloud environments. Assist with improvement and tuning opportunities with logging, event management, and data retention. Ability to measure and provide evidence of cloud related control effectiveness. Consolidate data to develop accurate reports and metrics to measure impact of implemented and improved security controls. Design and implement tools and reports that provide visibility into all account instances and services within our cloud environments. Work with multiple teams to coordinate the successful remediation of vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and risks. Perform risk assessments to ensure all cloud products and service configuration adhere to compliance, standards, and policies. Work with DevOps to design, build, and implement governance and security controls across our CI/CD. Participate in the on-call rotation. Must be able to work outside of normal, scheduled business hours as needed. Qualifications

Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred Cyber Security certification in Cloud Security (CCSP, CISSP, GIAC Cloud Security Automation - GCSA, CCSK, etc.) 5+ years of experience in Information Security related role 3+ years of experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Hands-on experience with SIEM’s such as LogRhythm, Splunk, Azure Sentinel, Alien Vault or Rapid 7 Strong experience using Microsoft suite of e5 products such as Endpoint Manager (InTune), Security, Purview (Compliance), Entra, etc. Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure Information Protection In depth experience securing a hybrid infrastructure Experience with Cloud Storage and Database security Experience in automation, API's, IaC, Json, and python Required Skills Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, and Kill Chain Strong knowledge of Security Principles surrounding CIA Knowledge of security and privacy compliance standards such as NIST 800-53, PCI DSS and GDPR. Expert IPv4 Networking fundamental skills are required. TCP/UDP, Routing, VLANs, Subnet masking, DNS, DHCP, common protocols and ports. IPv6 is a bonus. Ability to identify and validate vulnerabilities. Fluent in at least one programming language for use with automation. Ability to communicate security issues to peers and management. Strong verbal and written communication Work well independently or with a team Manages time well working simultaneous challenges without undue stress.
