This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure, identity management systems, and cloud services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID, AWS and Azure virtual machines/storage, and Networking . Strong network and data security skills are important as this position will have primary responsibility to ensure system availability, security, and data integrity.

What is needed for this job: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience in information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
Strong hands on Experience with AWS and Azure Compute and Storage required.
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell and Python)
Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
Excellent problem solving and communication skills with all level of personnel.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with staff and vendors
Willingness to work as part of a team and to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
The responsibilities we will trust you with: Primary responsibility for design, accuracy, availability, and maintenance of Active Directory and Entra Identity
Provides support and manages DNS for internal and external web hosts
Deploys, backs up, and recovers all servers. Leads Disaster Recovery testing.
Works with approved vendors and IT staff for 24 hour support.
Coordinates all expenses with IT Director to minimize expenditures and operate within budgetary restrictions.
Coordinates license and support agreements with IT Director to ensure that YMCA uses only trusted software, is fully licensed and maintains subscription coverage, follows budget and renewal options, and has adequate vendor support.
Participates in change team to control risk associated with system changes.
Documents issue resolution notes into Service Desk Cases according to SLA
Creates knowledge articles in IT Glue and Salesforce to document correct procedures for IT team to follow and to aid in change management.
Network Engineering & Operations Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi.
Implement network security best practices including blocking ports, VLAN, firewall rules, ACL, and VPNs.
Scan and test network hosts for vulnerabilities quarterly and remediate risks.
Complete internal and external Penetration tests with 3rd party tools and support
Identity & Access Management Manage and maintain Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments.
Implement and enforce identity governance, conditional access policies, and MFA.
Integrate identity services with cloud applications ensuring active certificates. Secrets, and keys..
Cloud Infrastructure (AWS and Azure and Premise) Administer and optimize AWS EC2 instances and S3 storage solutions, and Azure virtual machines and storage accounts.
Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, available to a 30 minute RTO and cost-effective.
Build, secure, manage, and recover any premise servers with a 24 hour RTO.
Collaboration & Support Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and cloud migrations.
Participates in Service Desk support, serves as escalation resource for network and identity-related incidents.
Document systems, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Participate in managing information security and privacy risk through PCI compliance, HIPAA and HIGH TECH compliance, data categorization, de-identification, and access controls in collaboration with Operations, IT, Business Intelligence, and managed security operations teams.
