Cloud Engineer: AWS CLOUD/GCP CLOUD/AZURE CLOUD DevOps Location: Atlanta GA Cloud Infrastructure Implementation: Configure and deploy Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments and instances per Cloud Architect designs. Establish and manage security controls in collaboration with the NetSecOps team. Provision infrastructure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, primarily Terraform. Platform Management & Improvement: Manage user, organizational, and group access per IAM-defined requirements. Monitor and report on cloud platform performance to meet management needs. Evaluate new Google Cloud Platform capabilities for potential adoption to enhance platform functionality. Documentation & Advocacy: Define and document standards, procedures (SOPs), and templates for Google Cloud Platform resource consumption. Communicate and advocate the cloud platform's capabilities to encourage adoption. Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Serve as a Tier-2 escalation resource for troubleshooting and resolving production issues. Participate in a weekly after-hours on-call rotation for incident response. Collaboration & Automation: Work with the NetSecOps team to ensure network security policies are implemented consistently and automated. Assist with automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure streamlined deployments. Lead and mentor a distributed, multidisciplinary team to manage both operational support and DevOps functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Drive and adjust team objectives to meet OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), ensuring continuous improvement and meeting business needs. Proactively monitor and enhance CI/CD pipelines, addressing potential issues, and implementing optimizations for improved performance and efficiency. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify the most effective infrastructure solutions and recommend tools that align with specific business objectives and technological requirements.
