They are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join their Public Works team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a licensed Civil Engineer, contributing to the design and management of municipal infrastructure projects. These projects may include street reconstruction, roundabouts, educational facilities, trails, parks, and more.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop public works projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and municipal agencies.
  • Conduct engineering analyses and prepare technical reports.
  • Oversee the preparation of engineering plans and specifications.
  • Utilize AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) for drafting and design work.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (PE).
  • 35 years of post-licensure experience in civil engineering and project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2009 or newer; Civil 3D preferred).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience preparing engineering plans and designs for public works projects.
