We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and 5+ years of professional experience. As a Professional Engineer (P.E.), you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing various civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion, including site development, infrastructure improvements, and environmental initiatives.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software to create detailed designs, plans, and specifications for projects.
  • Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
  • Perform engineering calculations and analyses to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to integrate various aspects of projects.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies and local authorities.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate project details, progress, and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards throughout all project phases.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by assisting in proposal preparation and client outreach.
QualificationsRequired:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of employment
  • 5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software
