Cisco Network Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions  is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer to join Federal Program in Warner Robins, GA. The Network Engineer will support the Department of Defense by designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performance network infrastructure to meet the mission-critical needs. Responsibilities of the Cisco Network Engineer include: ·Architect, implement, and manage Cisco-based network infrastructures to support scalable, secure, and reliable data center expansions. ·Act as the lead subject matter expert on Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated systems. ·Deploy and uphold robust network security protocols, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encrypted communications. ·Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive integration of network systems within data center operations. ·Diagnose and resolve advanced network issues to maintain high availability and performance. ·Perform network performance evaluations and recommend enhancements for optimization. ·Ensure adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards and policies, including compliance with STIGs. ·Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, operational procedures, and system processes. ·Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
