Mid-Level Backend/DevOps Engineer

Mid-level backend/devops engineer to manage cloud servers, write automation scripts, and support a mission-driven data platform. Manage cloud-hosted servers and maintain operational software for a custom data analysis platform. Write and maintain Python applications for user and data management. Develop Ansible playbooks for configuration and deployment of ~50 servers. Collaborate with users to gather requirements and provide support. Work directly with mission users across multiple sites, delivering platform training and consulting. Adapt backend systems and workflows as mission needs evolve.

Tech Stack: Python, Django, SQL, Ansible, Git, Linux, Redis, Nginx. Bonus skills: JavaScript, Kubernetes, AWS, leadership experience.

Compensation: $253,000/year total compensation

Qualifications: 8+ years experience, Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience), active Top Secret/SCI w. Full Scope Polygraph.
