About The Role

We are seeking an experienced **Azure Infrastructure Engineer III** to lead and support cloud infrastructure initiatives that enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our IT systems. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions that drive operational excellence and support our long-term growth.

You will work both independently and within teams to deliver high-impact infrastructure projects, leveraging modern cloud technologies and best practices. This position offers the opportunity to shape our cloud strategy and mentor others while contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using industry best practices. Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams on cloud technologies. Collaborate with system and database administrators to optimize cloud architectures. Define and document deployment strategies, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans. Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance, capacity, and trends to recommend improvements. Manage access controls, security configurations, and compliance requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools, services, and standards to support evolving business needs. Participate in change management, incident response, and patch management processes. Maintain accurate documentation of systems architecture and support procedures. Provide off-hours support as needed and deliver regular status updates to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 68 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud services and system performance. Proven expertise in Microsoft cloud services (O365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Exchange). Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, including architecture, migration, and support. Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware vSphere. Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies (preferably Cisco/Meraki). Proficiency in identity and access management tools (Azure AD, ADFS, SSO). Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and Microsoft Access. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code tools. Familiarity with ITIL practices and service-level management.
