Laurel, NJ (Onsite) Duration: 6 months Contract Job Overview: As an Azure Data Engineer at, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform. This role is ideal for a candidate with a solid foundation in data engineering who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: Data Solution Design and Development: Design and implement end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform. Develop and optimize ETL processes using SSIS for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading. Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain SSRS reports for business intelligence and data visualization. Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to present actionable insights to stakeholders. Azure Data Services: Implement and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines for data orchestration and movement. Utilize Azure services for data storage, processing, and analytics. Collaboration and Documentation: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders. Create and maintain documentation for data solutions and processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer. Proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory. Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other relevant services. Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (., DP-200, DP-201, DA-100). Familiarity with other data-related technologies such as Databricks, Apache Spark, etc.
