AV and VTC Engineer, Mid A well-designed AV and VTC network is critical to enable the DOD to communicate effectively and achieve their missions. That's why we need you, an AV and VTC engineer who knows how to develop the exact systems the DoD needs. As an AV and VTC engineer on our team, you'll use your skills to help support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll perform network and system administration support, trusted agent (TA) operations, end-user support, asset and device management, communications security and controlled cryptographic item management and maintenance, and mobile device management and support to include BES and CSfC devices. As an AV and VTC Engineer, you will also assist with training and support for tactical radio and communications systems. You'll apply your knowledge in planning, configuring, and administering AV and VTC technologies as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies. Your knowledge of AV and VTC technology will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. You Have:
3+ years of experience supporting users in the areas of electronic mail, account creation and maintenance, management of the organization's Active Directory and Group Policy structure, standard desktop applications, and above-baseline applications
Experience in scheduling VTC sessions in VTC bridges, debugging the interoperation of VTC end points, and setting up and troubleshooting AV equipment
Knowledge of Cryptographic Modernization and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI)
Ability to provision and maintain mobile devices, maintain and troubleshoots government network and computer systems and system peripherals and AV equipment
Ability to monitor the operation of assigned applications, servers, and storage devices to optimize performance while taking actions as appropriate to prevent or limit hardware or software failure, conferring with software systems engineering or applications programming personnel if errors require a change of instructions or sequences of operations
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in AV and VTC Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and 3+ years of experience in AV and VTC Engineering
IAT Level 2 compliant Certification
CCNA Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience safeguarding, accounting for, issuing, and managing the destruction of COMSEC material
Completion of COMSEC Custodian Course

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
