The Position The Associate Solutions Engineer based in our San Francisco office will be the primary technical sales resource for our Commercial and Channel sales team. They will assist in identifying prospect and customer challenges and drive technical alignment between those needs and OPSWAT solutions. The role involves serving as a product and industry resource, effectively describing and demonstrating our solutions, and promoting our vision and approach. The Associate Solutions Engineer will be a trusted contact for our Mid-market sales team and prospects, facilitating the sales process and liaising with the engineering team to influence product development. What You Will Be Doing Provide pre-sales support to the OPSWAT Commercial and Channel sales teams to enhance business and product knowledge. Qualify sales opportunities based on end customer technical requirements and solutions. Respond to RFPs with detailed proposals and presentations. Collaborate with the CIP lab to develop reusable demonstrations. Assist in building, repairing, and setting up mobile labs for tradeshows. Train and certify Mid-market sales team members. Present at sales team meetings. Support proof of concepts, evaluations, and customer demonstrations to meet requirements. What We Need From You At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or networking software solutions engineering or technical sales. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Results-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset. Strong influencing, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to drive results across cross-functional teams. Dynamic, adaptable, self-starting, and open-minded personality. Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise software or networking solutions, especially in network or device security. Knowledge of sandboxing, anti-malware products, and the related market. Understanding of APIs. Experience with virtualized and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.). Familiarity with CRM software. OPSWAT is an equal opportunity employer.
