Job Title: Application Support Engineer Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid work model)
Join our dynamic team as an Application Support Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our client's anti-money laundering business. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of technology support engineers, scrum masters, and software engineers.
Job Responsibilities: Prioritize customer needs and satisfaction in all business decisions, creating customized customer solutions. Troubleshoot daily file transmissions, report issues, batch job failures, and data and process issues related to critical applications. Analyze application code for defects, bugs, and runtime slowness, identifying necessary code changes. Identify and manage process improvement tasks, assisting the team in resolving issues. Mentor and guide team members, assisting in onboarding new team members. Coordinate with Change teams on issues impacting the application, working until changes are implemented and validated.
Skills Required: Proficiency in Unix shell/Java/Python, GitHub, Artifactory, uDeploy. Experience with job scheduling tools and incident management tools. Knowledge of Oracle Exadata and Informatica. Familiarity with Linux. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
