Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Alteryx Engineer to join our team remotely for an exciting project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data workflows and analytics solutions using Alteryx Designer. This role requires experience in data transformation, automation, and ETL processes, as well as proficiency in SQL and integration with Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Power BI and Tableau. As an Alteryx Engineer, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making. You will also have a chance to collaborate with BI teams to create integrated reporting and dashboard solutions that provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities: Design, Develop, and Maintain Alteryx Workflows: Develop Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending, transformation, and ETL. Design solutions to automate manual data processes, improve workflow efficiency, and reduce data handling time.

Data Transformation and Cleansing: Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity. Utilize Alteryx's data transformation capabilities to convert raw data into business-ready formats.

Integration of Multiple Data Sources: Integrate data from various sources, such as Databases, APIs, Excel, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ensure smooth data flow across systems and maintain integration pipelines for seamless access to data.

Optimize Existing Workflows: Regularly review and optimize existing Alteryx workflows to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency. Implement best practices to ensure optimal workflow performance.

Collaboration with BI Teams: Work with BI teams to integrate Alteryx workflows with Power BI and Tableau for reporting and dashboarding. Assist in the creation of interactive dashboards and visualizations that help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.

Documentation & Governance: Ensure thorough documentation of workflows, designs, and processes to enable effective version control and governance. Implement and follow best practices for workflow development, version control, and data governance.

Production Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing production support for data-related issues and ensure that workflows are running smoothly. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Alteryx Designer. Strong understanding of data blending, transformation, and ETL processes.

Technical Skills: SQL proficiency (complex queries, joins, optimization). Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake. Good understanding of data warehousing concepts.

BI Tool Integration: Experience in integrating Alteryx with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau for creating reports and dashboards.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to design effective data workflows and troubleshoot complex data issues.

Communication & Collaboration: Good communication skills to work with business stakeholders and other team members. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Version Control & Documentation: Experience with version control tools and maintaining comprehensive workflow documentation.

Desirable Skills: Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for integrating cloud-based data sources. Familiarity with advanced Alteryx functions, including macros, predictive analytics, and spatial analytics. Experience in using Python or R for extending Alteryx workflows with advanced analytics. Data Governance knowledge and best practices for managing large datasets.
