Job Title: Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer 3 Location: Everett, WA
Job Responsibilities: Lead teams in conducting detailed investigations into regulatory compliance issues using structured methodologies. Collaborate with various engineering groups to identify root causes and develop corrective actions. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on investigation status and resolutions. Work closely with the Organizational Designation Authorization to meet regulatory expectations. Partner with enterprise groups to enhance processes and tools for future readiness. Communicate complex technical issues effectively to diverse audiences.
Skills Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a diverse team. Initiative and leadership in cross-functional teams and projects. Ownership and facilitation of work activities to ensure timely and accurate completion. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. 1+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action tools like 5-Whys or Fishbone. Knowledge of FAA Regulatory Compliance and ODA procedures. Experience with commercial airplane operation and certification. Pilot’s license or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License 5+ years related work experience.
