Job Overview:

This position is responsible for providing support to cabin electrical In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) and WiFi systems. The role involves supporting the repair and alterations of cabin electrical systems, collaborating with engineering teams to create or revise technical documentation, investigating and resolving reliability issues, and working with suppliers and OEMs to develop system alterations. Additionally, the position supports line operations by reviewing daily out-of-service aircraft or degraded systems and providing technical assistance.

Responsibilities: Provide support for cabin electrical IFE and WiFi systems. Support the repair and alterations of cabin electrical systems via Engineering Orders (EO) or Engineering Authorizations (EA). Collaborate with engineering teams to create or revise task cards, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC), Aircraft Wiring Diagram Manuals (AWDM), and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) for cabin electrical systems. Investigate and develop solutions for reliability issues on cabin electrical systems. Work with suppliers and OEMs to develop alterations to existing systems, including potential removal and replacement of systems or components. Support line operations by reviewing daily out-of-service aircraft or degraded systems and providing technical support.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, with Electrical Engineering preferred. Ten or more years of experience in aircraft In-Flight Entertainment, WiFi, or aircraft cabin electrical systems. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and engineering practices is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple high-priority tasks.
