Blu Omega is looking for a Zero Trust Cybersecurity Engineer with a hacker's mindset and a builder's precision to help us lead secure digital transformation across critical government systems.

Responsibilities:
Design Next-Gen Security Architectures
Architect innovative Zero Trust security frameworks that span identity, access, data, networks, and devices - ensuring every connection is verified and every asset is protected.
Lead the Roadmap to Zero Trust
Craft detailed implementation roadmaps that guide clients from traditional models into full Zero Trust adoption, tailored to their unique threat landscapes and missions.
Engineer Archer for the Future
Customize Archer modules to support integrated controls for Zero Trust, PAM, SCRM, and even Generative AI - enabling real-time, intelligent decision-making.
Integrate with the Best-in-Class Tools
Work hand-in-hand with technologies like CyberArk, Tanium, Jenkins, GitLab, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to implement Zero Trust across hybrid ecosystems.
Collaborate Across Mission Stakeholders
Team up with client security, development, and operations teams to implement end-to-end Zero Trust coverage - from user identity to data flow.
Show the Story in the Data
Build custom dashboards, dynamic reports, and process diagrams that surface risk posture, policy compliance, and areas needing attention - turning insight into action.
Secure the Dev Pipeline
Embed Zero Trust principles into DevSecOps practices, ensuring secure code delivery through CI/CD pipelines.
Drive Compliance and Operational Excellence
Lead key initiatives like user access reviews, IT access control audits, and compliance checklists - making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Qualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
12+ years of hands-on experience across software engineering and operations.
Fluent in security - from identities to SIEM, from authentication to automation.
Designed Zero Trust architectures using NIST SP 800-207 , and you're familiar with CSF, CIS Controls, and a suite of NIST standards.
Proven experience implementing security across AWS, Azure, or GCP .
Strategic communicator - able to translate complex tech into clear insights for stakeholders at every level.
Hold active CISM and/or CISSP certifications.
Mission-ready with a Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible).
Salary Range: $135K - $140K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
