Key Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server environments supporting core infrastructure and operations, leveraging automation. Administer Windows-based systems including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services. Use Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools to orchestrate and manage configuration, deployment, and ongoing operations of Windows and Active Directory environments. Use Linux skills to support cross-platform tools, integration, and monitoring in a hybrid environment. Collaborate closely with network, facilities, and security teams to support integrated infrastructure across multiple data center sites. Develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration standards to streamline system build and improve reliability. Create and maintain documentation for system designs, standard operating procedures, and incident response guides. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack—from hardware to OS-level services. Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and hardening of infrastructure in line with security and compliance frameworks. Coordinate with vendors and assist with system upgrades, refreshes, and the integration of new technologies. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience managing Windows infrastructure in a mission-critical environment; experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar) preferred. Direct experience supporting large-scale infrastructure at a data center operator or hyperscale cloud provider. Strong understanding of virtualization platforms (e.g., Proxmox), storage systems, and backup solutions. Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages including Ansible (specifically for Windows automation), PowerShell, Python, and Bash. Experience with modern Windows Server technologies, including headless deployments (Server Core, Nano Server), Windows Containers, and hybrid integration with Azure (e.g., Azure Arc, Windows Admin Center). Familiarity with advanced security features (Shielded VMs, Windows Defender ATP) and modern file sharing technologies (SMB over QUIC) to support secure, large-scale deployments. Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell required; Bash, Python a plus). Familiarity with infrastructure tools for performance tuning, patching, system health monitoring, and configuration automation. Solid grasp of data center operational practices, including structured cabling, hardware management, and out-of-band access. Strong documentation skills and experience using tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar for system diagrams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (certifications like MCSE, RHCSA, or equivalent a plus). Physical Requirements: Able to remain in a seated position for an extended period and to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. (office manuals, case notebooks, case files, case materials, standard boxes, report binders, etc.) as needed. Working Conditions by Location: Remote: The Company agrees that Employee may work from home provided employee is in good standing, has a continuous secured internet connection, necessary equipment, and is accessible by MS Teams, phone, fax, and email during business hours. (See Telework policy.) Office Environment: Business office hours, with work hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions. Some overtime may be required to accomplish timely work demands and meet the company’s professional commitments. Overtime hours worked are paid to nonexempt employees at one and a half times their hourly pay rate. Site Location: We are a 24-hour facility. Work hours (shifts) are assigned as necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions, ensure compliance, and support efficient company operations. Some positions require work at irregular hours (nights/weekends), overtime, alternating shifts, and working in challenging conditions (heat/cold, hazardous environments, loud worksites). Overtime hours worked are paid to nonexempt employees at one and a half times their hourly pay rate.
