Job Description Note: This is a local W2 hourly position only -- Sorry, no visas or third-party arrangements. We’re seeking a passionate, creative, self-starting UX Engineer. You will collaborate closely with world-class designers and engineers to ensure design integrity throughout the product development lifecycle. The role involves enabling and updating the website for OneDrive . You will work with new technologies and quickly learn new tools, especially open-source technologies. A UX engineer at Webtellect understands design processes, interaction design, usability, and visual design. Primary responsibilities include: Develop UI for new features and refine existing features Manage your work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality Coordinate with UX and engineering teams to implement designs according to specifications Communicate effectively with project teams throughout all stages Additional responsibilities include adding features, updating modules, and running A/B tests with Optimizely. Qualifications Core Skills: Emerging Engineer with 2+ years of experience shipping production software Ability to work well in a collaborative environment Ability to write clear developer documentation Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements Self-management skills to meet deadlines Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile methodologies Technical Skills: Experience with Knockout.js; experience with Angular, Vue, or React is a plus Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including preprocessors like LESS, SASS, SCSS Experience with version control systems, especially git Willingness to learn new technologies Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals
