Kimley-Horn's Orlando, Florida (FL) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Utility Structures to join the Structural team! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities
This position leads business development efforts, manages relationships with key clients, and oversees all project tasks while mentoring the growth of younger staff. The successful candidate will have a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Florida Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months 8+ years of experience of relevant Structural Engineering experience Proficiency with Revit Knowledge of local building codes and requirement Business development skills Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner. Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably.
