Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to their Chicago team!

Responsibilities:

Manage pipeline study/engineering project design

Lead preparation of design documents (Plans, Specifications, Estimate of Probable Costs)

Prepare permit applications for local, state and federal agency approval

Monitor project performance (Client Satisfaction, Project Schedule, and Budget)

Attend client meetings (present proposed designs, answer questions, and coordinate work)

Provide technical guidance to project teams

Mentor/train junior staff

Perform quality control reviews

Assist in preparation of proposals and agreements (Project Approach, Staffing, and Fee Development)

Build/maintain client relationships

Requirements: in Civil Engineering

6+ years of experience managing water and wastewater projects

Illinois PE License

Member of professional/technical societies

Experience preparing design plans and specifications, writing reports, and business correspondence

Valid driver’s license

Salary is commensurate with experience.
