About the Role: The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting transportation construction management within the electrical construction industry. This position encompasses a variety of projects for federal, state, and municipal clients across the United States. You will assist in the preparation of plans and specifications, and provide valuable project support to senior project management professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and analyze construction drawings and specifications.
Assist in the review of plans and create checklists for contract features requiring attention.
Compile a list of items needed from subcontractors for approval before work begins.
Support cost estimation and project scheduling efforts as necessary.
Maintain accurate and organized project records.
Help prepare statements of work, submittals, and manage change processes while providing daily and weekly reporting.
Promote safety practices in construction operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Conduct inspections of equipment, materials, workmanship, and finished construction.
Monitor work progress in the field.
Verify that construction procedures are followed and materials used meet specified requirements.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The essential functions of this position will be performed in a designated office or field location. You are expected to understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy, along with any relevant industry-specific professional standards.
Qualifications for Project Engineer I:
1 - 3 years of experience in commercial electrical construction or general construction.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications for Project Engineer II:
3 - 5 years of experience in commercial electrical construction or general construction.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate or higher knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, paid weekly.
