Job Title: Transportation Engineer Location: Fort Wayne, IN

We are seeking a talented and driven Transportation Engineer to join our team in the Indianapolis area. This is a 6-month contract-to-direct hire opportunity, offering a chance to contribute to significant transportation projects and build a rewarding career with a reputable firm.

About the Role: Design & Analysis: You will lead the design process, conducting transportation design calculations, preparing reports, developing roadway models, and overseeing the preparation of project plans. Project Management: You will coordinate project tasks, report to project managers and supervisory staff, and assist in tracking project budgets and schedules. Business Development: You will assist office leadership in the preparation of proposal documents and preliminary project evaluations. Professional Development: You will actively build and maintain professional relationships with staff from other firms and public agencies to enhance your professional network and facilitate project coordination. Who You Are: A Civil Engineering Expert: You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program. Experienced Professional: You have 7-12 years of experience designing transportation projects, including experience with INDOT, county, and municipal projects. A Registered Professional: You are a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana. Technically Proficient: You are proficient in MicroStation / Bentley Open Roads Designer, and possess strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A Strong Leader: You have experience leading project teams and possess excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Project management experience. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software. Additional Info: Pay Range: $34.62 - $43.27 depending on prior experience. Ready to Join Our Team?
