The Role
Position: Transmission Line Engineer
Location: Spring Branch, Texas, USA (on-site, occasional regional travel)
Position Type: Full-time, permanent
Citizenship / Work Authorisation: U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
Compensation: Competitive base + comprehensive benefits package (details provided verbally after mutual interest)
About the Role: We are seeking experienced Transmission Line Engineers to join a growing team working on a range of overhead and underground transmission projects. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy seeing complex energy projects through from concept to completion, this role is for you.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver detailed engineering and design ofoverhead transmission lines (4kV to 500kV) from conceptual design through to construction.
Execute detailed design of underground transmission lines (69kV to 230kV).
Prepare detailed cost estimates and provide opinions of probable costs, even with limited design details.
Draft construction and material specifications, including scopes of work for tenders and contracts.
Liaise directly with clients, contractors, internal disciplines, and permitting authorities.
Opportunity to step into Project Engineer or Project Manager roles as needed.

Ideal Profile
MUST HAVE Qualification:
A4-year degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in transmission line design.
Strong knowledge of US codes and standards including NESC, CPUC, ASCE, RUS, etc.
Proficiency in PLS software suite, Sag10, AutoCAD or MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record (No Exceptions).
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs as needed.
NICE-TO-HAVE Qualification:
P.E. License in the State of Texas (preferred).
Experience taking lead roles in similar transmission line projects.
Familiarity with additional industry-specific tools or software.
