Summary:
The Stationary Engineer oversees the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems such as boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors, and refrigeration equipment.
A Stationary Engineer 1 License is required.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor stationary engines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment, ensuring they function efficiently and safely.
- Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all equipment and systems to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
- Adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, and flow of various fluids and gases.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with engines and mechanical systems, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of operational data, including fuel consumption, pressure readings, and maintenance activities.
- Comply with safety regulations and environmental standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of maintenance staff.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new equipment, and best practices in stationary engineering.
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday
6:am until 2:30pm
- Occasional overtime or emergency response may be required, including off-shift and weekend work.
During peak season will require 6 days per week
