Title: Test Engineer KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. Key Responsibilities: Integrate, test, evaluate, and transition enterprise IT systems. Attend and support formal Technical Reviews, such as Test Readiness Reviews (TRR). Upon completion of integration activities, create a test plan/ test procedure to support system acceptance testing. Conduct system acceptance testing in accordance with approved test plan and test procedure. After completion of system acceptance testing, provide a test inspection report. Participate in after-actions review to address lessons learned and areas of opportunity, as appropriate. Provide recommendations/inputs to final system design documents, as appropriate. Work Environment: Location: Annapolis Junction MD [On-site] Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% Travel Working Hours: Standard 40 hour per week Qualifications : Required: Clearance: Top Secret with SCI 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD. Proven experience testing IT systems, encompassing hardware, applications, and network components. Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification. Desired: ITIL Foundations certification. Basic Compensation: $115k - $185k This range is for the Maryland area only The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
