Description Captivation Software is seeking a senior-level test engineer responsible for testing and validating HPC systems according to test plans to ensure system requirements are met. Requirements Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; all candidates must be U.S. citizens. Eight (8) years' experience as a Test Engineer in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution. Four (4) years of additional TE experience can substitute for a degree. Required Skills Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools. Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting for automation. Experience developing and executing test plans for HPC systems. Experience integrating and testing REST APIs related to HPC. Ability to create complex database queries to analyze test data across various platforms. Experience with defect tracking and resolution processes. Knowledge of CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI. Desired Skills Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence). Familiarity with Splunk for data analysis. Knowledge of SAFe Agile principles and practices. Experience with IaC principles and automation tools like Ansible. Experience with Git source control system. This position is open for direct hires only. We will not consider candidates from third-party staffing/recruiting firms. Benefits Annual salary between $130,000 and $270,000, depending on experience. Up to 20% 401k contribution (no matching required, vested from day one). Above market hourly rates. $3,400 HSA contribution. Five weeks paid time off.
