Technical Support Engineer Automation (Hybrid Santa Clara, CA)
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer for a large, global B2B high-tech company. This role will be responsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues for the Client's platform. You will be the first point of escalation within the technical support department, as well as providing regular communication updates to customers on the progress of their requests/cases.
This is a 12-month contract (Extension possible). 40 hours per week role, 2-3 days onsite at the client's office in Santa Clara, CA.
This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Must be a US citizen or a Green Card holder.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues for the Client's platform.
Being the first point of escalation within the technical support department, as well as providing regular communication updates to customers on the progress of their requests/cases.
Able to quickly gain an understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
Maintain a high level of customer interaction, demonstrating both technical competence and the interpersonal skills necessary to build trust and rapport.
Requirements:
Experience writing and debugging JavaScript Code
Working knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java and JavaScript).
Understanding of SQL and database concepts
Working knowledge of Web Technologies (Apache, Tomcat, HTML, XML, JSON)
Understanding of remote administration via SSH, SNMP, WMI, PowerShell
Understanding of Networking concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP, concepts of firewall, load balancer, and ports
Familiarity with VMware, AWS, Azure, and Event Management Systems.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
