About the Role We are seeking a technically skilled and self-driven Web Scraping & Operations Specialist to join our merchant onboarding team. In this role, you will play a critical part in scaling our integrations by launching new merchants, developing reliable scrapers, and managing onboarding workflows. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to ensure the accurate and seamless ingestion of merchant data into our platform. This is a fast-paced, contract role ideal for someone who enjoys automation, problem-solving, and making an impact at scale. Key Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and maintain custom website scrapers to onboard new merchants. Analyze site structures to determine efficient and scalable scraping strategies. Write clean, well-documented Python scripts for data extraction with a focus on reliability and accuracy. Monitor and troubleshoot scraper performance to ensure data consistency and uptime. Coordinate day-to-day onboarding operations and manage assigned merchant integration workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve the merchant onboarding experience. Requirements Proficiency in Python and experience developing data extraction or automation tools . Strong understanding of HTML, JSON, and DOM structures . Ability to analyze and reverse-engineer complex website layouts and data flows . Prior experience building or maintaining web scrapers is a strong plus. Comfortable working in fast-paced , iterative environments with cross-functional teams. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Strong communication and organizational skills with a bias toward action.
