Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projects, pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the design, development, and integration of complex hardware and software systems. The role requires a solid understanding of systems engineering principles, project management, and technical writing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace hardware and mission computer systems, coupled with a passion for continuous process improvement. Responsibilities:
* Lead system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability of hardware and software components. * Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the engineering function. * Design, develop and test aerospace hardware and mission computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. * Manage complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget. * Apply systems engineering principles to solve complex problems, developing innovative solutions that meet customer requirements. * Develop high-quality technical documentation, clearly communicating system design and functionality. * Conduct requirements analysis, translating customer needs into actionable engineering requirements. * Manage system configuration, ensuring the integrity and traceability of system components. * Collaborate with hardware engineers, providing expert guidance on system design and integration.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry. * Proven experience with system integration, process improvement, aerospace hardware, and mission computer systems. * Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. * Strong knowledge of software development principles and practices. * Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise documentation. * Demonstrated ability to conduct requirements analysis and translate customer needs into actionable engineering requirements. * Experience with configuration management, ensuring the integrity and traceability of system components. * Solid understanding of hardware engineering principles and practices. * Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex problems. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
