Responsibilities The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) plays a key role in supporting the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage Elasticsearch clusters in production environments.
Develop efficient indexing strategies and data ingestion pipelines tailored to application requirements.
Monitor cluster health , optimize query performance , and implement tuning as needed.
Collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate Elasticsearch across distributed services.
Build and maintain dashboards using Kibana or other visualization tools for real-time insights.
Perform version upgrades, manage snapshots, and ensure high availability and data durability.
Qualifications
A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in systems engineering on programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired and may be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience.
A Master’s degree in a technical discipline may be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.
Acceptable technical fields include Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar areas of study.
One of the following certifications is required:
AWS Certified Developer – Associate
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD)
Elastic Certified Engineer
Elastic Certified Observability Engineer
