A Global Media Company is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team in Ashburn, VA!

What you’ll be doing:

Working in a team environment to support the development and deployment of a nationwide virtualized DHCP platform

Configure, test and troubleshoot interfaces and networks related to Red Hat Openstack based Cloud Platform

Support team across different projects in troubleshooting and developing new virtualized solutions

Setup and Test features such as DHCP address pools/distribution, exclusion, conflict resolution, address forwarding/relay, client options

Develop, integrate, and test automation scripts for installation and deployment of the applications on Linux base OS.

Test DNS, DHCP, static and dynamic address for IPv4 and IPv6 networks

Troubleshoot any network/system/service related issues with involved testing teams.

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Proven commitment to completing projects and communication skills

Expertise in setup, configuration, and monitoring complex Linux server platforms and applications.

Strong Knowledge of troubleshooting DHCP, IPsec, IPv6, DNS, AD

Network analytics experience in Wireshark, Wireless packet analysis, Ixia IxLoad, Spirent, CDrouter

Experience in network cloud and virtualization such as VMware, Openstack, AWS

Would be great if you also have:

Certification in Network Analytics, Network virtualization, and Network Automation

Automation experience: experience in Jenkins or similar environment

Experience in network performance analysis, outage prevention, and automated network monitoring

Jira testing/development experience
