What We're Doing Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks.
The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.
The Work The successful candidate will be performing System Reliability & Maintainability (RAM&T) Engineering Analysis. The candidate will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and verifying subsystem RAM&T performance requirements for all design changes and new development efforts to ensure that RAM&T program requirements are achieved. The primary responsibility of the position will be reliability, maintainability, and testability. The selected candidate will Liaison with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and suppliers for the RAM&T of assigned subsystem. The individual will support the Product teams in the investigation of RAM&T issues and develop mitigation plans.

#rmshotmiljobs Desired skills • Minimum 5 years of experience within Reliability and Maintainability discipline. • Ability to perform RAM&T allocations and predictions • Ability to develop Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) analysis • Ability to perform Built In Test (BIT) testability analysis • Ability to develop mission reliability analysis • Ability to support the development of teams in the investigation of issues • Familiarity with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) • Experience with Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) • Experience with maintainability demonstrations • Experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Reliability Growth Testing (RGT), and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills (written and oral)
