JOB SUMMARY The Systems Engineer I assists the Technology Operations Manager with the overall operation of the bank’s server and storage infrastructure systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties, as assigned, including cross training across other departments, as necessary. Assists the Technology Operations Manager with the overall operation of the bank’s server and storage infrastructure systems. Installs, administers and optimizes company servers and related components to achieve high performance of the various business applications supported. Administers patch management and anti-virus software for the bank’s environment. Researches new technologies and potential applications that will benefit the bank. Configures all new server implementations and develop processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment. Implements redundant systems, policies and procedures for disaster recovery and archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of organizational data and assets. Plans and implements server upgrades, maintenance fixes and vendor-supplied patches. Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary. Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy. Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations. Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML
