Level Of Experience: Seniority Level Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only) Description The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the following activities: Lead the SQE efforts in Electro-Mechanical Assemblies. Work with suppliers to establish and maintain controlled manufacturing processes utilizing PFMEA. Establish control methods suitable to the nature of the parts supplied. Lead teams and manage product focus groups working with suppliers. Work with suppliers on measurement methodologies. Build relationships with suppliers to ensure manufacturing understands BD requirements. Support Development/Operations Engineering and manufacturing to resolve technical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Drive continuous improvement efforts through collaboration with cross-functional teams including BD and Suppliers. Report on quality trends and supplier performance to management. Travel approximately 25%-40%. Develop strategies for developing new suppliers and ensure adherence to quality procedures. Follow up on non-conformances during inspections, quality complaints, product returns, and safety recalls; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions. Participate in Quality Audits as a process SME. Work closely with QA to manage supplier quality.
