Job purpose
Implement, support, and/or manage Supplier Development strategies and performance to ensure flawless launches as part of the Industrial Solutions supplier management team . Responsibilities will include leading APQP process as part of new product launches, coordinate technical reviews, and develop supplier capabilities to meet BW requirements. Responsibilities will also include conducting Supplier Quality training at the suppliers and drive performance improvements at the supplier to meet established objectives and strategic goals. Work is more complex with difficult situations requiring investigation. Review of work results is based on objectives at predetermined milestones.
Key responsibilities
Lead APQP process as part of new product
Recognized expert in a particular commodity and/or process
Follows established procedures and best practices
Drive business process improvements as it relates to supplier management
Effectively manage complex and difficult situations requiring investigation by using collaboration with cross functional internal and external stakeholders
Review of work results is based on objectives at predetermined milestones

Coordinate technical reviews and assessments
Provide input in commodity strategy
Develop supplier capabilities to meet BW requirements
Support supplier evaluations on existing and potential suppliers through audits, performance metrics and capability analysis to ensure alignment with BW expectations and risk management assessments
Conduct Supplier Quality training at suppliers
Drive performance improvements at suppliers by leading process optimization and reducing inefficiencies and costs while maintaining high quality and reliability

Coordinate cross functional technical problem resolution at supplier
What we’re looking for
Required :
8 plus years of experience
Recognized process expertise
University Diploma in related discipline or equivalent experience
Ability to provide some mentoring to mid-level SDE’s/SQE’s
Experience with industrial or non-automotive industries
Familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies, such as ERP systems and data visualization platforms
Strong functional and technical skills
Ability to travel 60% of the time
English proficiency
Ability to lead an area of expertise or process
