Supervisory Position in Digital Analytics Infrastructure and Technology Advancement You will serve as either a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER, OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST, or COMPUTER SCIENTIST in the DIGITAL ANALYTICS INFRASTRUCTURE AND TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT GROUP, CYBER WARFARE DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities include overseeing all activities of a division under the Cyber Warfare Department, technically and administratively supervising a professional workforce of Scientists, Engineers, IT Specialists, and Military Officers. You will set a strategic vision for the division in response to the command/department initiatives and vision. You will serve as a senior technical expert in support of cyber technical warrant authorities. You will be responsible for fiscal planning, management, and communication of the division's resources (workforce and material). You will review a variety of technical literature and studies, and attend professional conferences and seminars.
Requirements include demonstrating at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include serving as a manager or supervisor of Federal civilian employees, military or uniformed service employees, volunteers, or other non-contractor personnel; establishing short and long-term task priorities; determining work procedures and methods; preparing schedules for completion of work; and acting as a project or program manager for major system developments. Education requirements include successful completion of a professional engineering degree, current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico, evidence of having successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination or any other written test required for professional registration by an engineering licensure board, or successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field.
