Substation Applications Engineer

Provide technical support and training on cable and substation test equipment (onsite, virtual, and phone)
Validate and test new products; provide feedback to engineering teams
Assist in product development and design discussions
Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and marketing events
Create technical content (white papers, application notes)
Present technical case studies and training materials to varied audiences
What you must have : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
3–5 years of hands-on field experience in substation testing, cable testing, and fault location
Strong understanding of cable systems, accessories, substation design, and maintenance procedures
Familiarity with standards: IEEE, NETA, IEC, NERC
Strong communication skills – must be able to present to engineers, managers, and technicians
50% travel required
Proficiency in Windows OS, PC hardware/software interfaces, and Microsoft Office
Highly self-driven with a customer-first attitude
Salary/Rate Range: $100,000 - $120,000
