We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and compliant with all relevant regulations. The Structural Engineer will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
*Duties*
* Design and analyze structural systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects using advanced engineering principles. * Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation to communicate design concepts and project specifications. * Utilize software tools such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, CAD, Mathcad, and FEA for modeling and analysis. * Conduct site inspections to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications. * Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks. * Engage in project planning activities including risk assessments and feasibility studies. * Implement GIS technology for mapping and spatial analysis related to structural projects. * Provide technical support during the construction phase to resolve any engineering issues that arise.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. * Proven experience in structural engineering design and analysis. * Proficiency in engineering software including MicroStation, Civil 3D, CAD, Mathcad, FEA, and GIS. * Strong technical writing skills for the preparation of reports and documentation. * Excellent mathematical skills with a solid understanding of engineering principles. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. * Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
