Seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer with strong CATIA V5 skills to design, develop, and support structural modifications for C-130, C-5, P-3, and S-3 aircraft for a global aerospace company. The role involves working on complex design projects, production line support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturability and compliance with aerospace standards.
This 4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is an onsite role in the Marietta, GA.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Design structural parts, assemblies, and system installations for aircraft modifications.
Develop engineering drawings and layouts per aerospace specifications.
Coordinate with wiring/avionics, manufacturing, stress, tooling, and test teams.
Conduct design reviews, manage drawing updates, and support production.
Resolve technical issues related to aircraft structures and systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
9+ years aircraft design/test/support experience.
Proficiency in CATIA V5 and CCD.
Experience with C-130, C-5, P-3, or S-3 aircraft.
Background in modification design and production line support.
