TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
We are looking for a highly skilled Stress MRB Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing structural stress analysis to support Manufacturing Review Board (MRB) activities, ensuring the structural integrity of aircraft components.
Perform stress analysis of composite and metallic aircraft structures using Patran/Nastran and other FEA tools.
Support MRB (Manufacturing Review Board) activities , providing engineering solutions for non-conformances and repairs .
Conduct static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis to validate repair solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Review design changes , assess structural impact, and provide recommendations to optimize aircraft components.
Prepare and review technical reports, justifications, and stress substantiations for repair approvals.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and certification teams to ensure safe and efficient repairs.
Ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations (FAA, or other relevant authorities) .
Requirements
YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field .
5+ years of experience in stress analysis within the aerospace industry.
Previous experience in a MRB stress role supporting manufacturing .
Strong expertise in Patran/Nastran and finite element analysis (FEA).
Experience working on Airbus programs .
Extensive experience with composite materials
Knowledge of aircraft structures, repair principles, and certification requirements .
Experience with static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis .
Familiarity with industry standards.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical reports, and structural analysis data.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills in English .
Extensive experience in fuselage structures or on other major OEM aircraft platforms.
Communicate clearly and effectively with a proactive approach to discuss technical issues.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Kinston (mandatory).
Must have U.S. citizenship (mandatory).
