NOTE : Will not consider candidates on OPT/CPT visas Overview: * Blue Yonder is a Leading AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions Software Product Company and one of Glassdoor's and Texas's "Best Places to Work". * We are looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer, to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions at Blue Yonder. * In this role, you'll architect, build, and optimize advanced AI systems that push the boundaries of generative technology. * As a key player in the Blue Yonder AI Innovation Studio, you will work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of Generative AI and machine learning in the supply chain and retail domains. * The ideal candidate loves to code with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This is not a research role. What you'll do: * Design and implement high-performance systems for deploying and serving large language models and multimodal AI. * Design scalable infrastructure for model inference, fine-tuning, and evaluation. * Integrate AI solutions with our existing platform and products. * Optimize systems for latency, throughput, and resource efficiency. * Implement safeguards, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems. * Collaborate, review, and improve engineering outputs. * Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and establish engineering best practices. * Contribute to technical decision-making and long-term AI infrastructure strategy. What we are looking for: *Minimum 8 to 10 years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in software engineering skills , design patterns, and building scalable systems is REQUIRED. * Extensive expertise in Python ( REQUIRED) along with proficiency in front-end technologies like React. * Experience in development, test and maintaining scalable backend services with REST APIs . Experience with SQL and No SQL databases ( Postgre sql/Django) . Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies using Docker and Kubernetes. * Solid understanding of OOP, design patters and software engineering principals * Background in MLOps, including model deployment pipelines and monitoring infrastructure. * Self-driven with the desire to take ownership and ability to work across the full stack. * Comfortable with working in a startup environment embedded within an enterprise. * Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts. * Passion for pushing the boundaries of AI and a commitment to staying at the cutting edge of industry trends and technologies. The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
