And we're leaders in that space, with:$8 billion+ in revenue generated since Patreon's inception60 million+ free new memberships for fans who may not be ready to pay just yet, and10 million+ fans paying each month for exclusive access to creators' work and community.We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Staff iOS Engineer to support our mission.This role is based in San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.About the TeamThe Fan Monetization team seeks to drive fan engagement, retention and activation in order to reinforce the value proposition: Patreon is the home for a creator’s true fans. Our team seeks to work at multiple points to accelerate the flywheel between members as they discover, engage, convert to membership and evangelize. We leverage tools to enhance the likelihood of conversion by building delightful, retentive experiences at key points of leverage.About the RoleLead mobile development of products that maximize fan value for of Patreon users, making them more likely to convert and retainCollaborate closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to design, build, and iterate on monetization features.Advocate for patterns and practices that optimize for reliability and developer velocityDrive clarity and alignment on technical vision and directionWork with a fully cross functional team to define and deliver new product featuresBuild a strong product-minded engineering culture by mentoring and guiding engineersAbout You8+ years of experience in mobile software developmentHold a high standard of quality and craft with an eye for excellent UX, engineering detail and high performance mobile productsComfortable with project leadership, including scoping, architecture and modeling, process refinement and delegation of responsibilitiesIn depth knowledge of SwiftStrong working knowledge of modern web technologies, specifically RESTPreference for practicality over dogmatismPenchant for solving complex requirements with elegant and simple solutionsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalentAbout PatreonPatreon powers creators to do what they love and get paid by the people who love what they do.
