Accountabilities:
Design, build, and maintain full stack applications within a robust suite of enterprise tools.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to ideate and deliver solutions to complex customer needs.
Lead or participate in agile team ceremonies and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Integrate and optimize the use of large language models (LLMs) via commercial APIs to enhance AI-powered applications.
Guide architecture and cloud infrastructure decisions using AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.).
Contribute to internal developer tooling and workflows to maximize team productivity and software quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack and ensure high system availability.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in incident response and disaster recovery initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
Strong experience with Python and JavaScript; proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (preferably React).
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product and design teams to deliver enterprise applications.
Expertise in building cloud-native applications using serverless technologies.
Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Skilled in RESTful API design, data modeling with relational databases (especially Postgres), and database performance tuning.
Familiarity with AI-enhanced development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and LLM-based applications.
Bonus points for experience with Next.js, TypeScript, Infrastructure as Code, and data science libraries (numpy, pandas, etc.).
