Staff Civil/Structural Engineer

If so, we are seeking a motivated engineer to work on complex and exciting projects at locations throughout the Northeast.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Candidates will work on a variety of structural waterfront projects throughout the region.
- You will learn new skills and perform engineering analyses and design.
- You will perform field surveys and inspections of existing structures.
- You will be expected to perform computations, prepare spreadsheets, prepare and edit drawings using AutoCAD.
- You will take a key role in construction field inspections for activities such as pile driving, bulkhead wall construction, and concrete placement.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S or M.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2+ years of experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Candidate should have EIT
- Possess a valid driver's license
- This position has a field component; travel and some overnight travel are required. Candidates should be prepared to work in inclement conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Some experience working in waterfront/coastal engineering
- Structural steel and concrete design courses
- Foundation design course or experience
- Experience with AutoCAD software
