Description: Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to support a law enforcement customer in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities: Design and support infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms Support and maintain high availability, distributed, multi-clustered server infrastructure and systems Responsible for designing server infrastructure analysis, optimization, and capacity planning Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Required: 8 years of general work experience or 6 years of relevant IT experience with 4 years of administration and operations of servers Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Master's degree may be substituted for 4 additional years of general experience. Experience with supporting, operating and maintaining a 24/7 mission-critical data center infrastructure Experience managing and administering RHEL in a Windows environment. Experience operating in a VMware virtual infrastructure. Experience interfacing with network storage solutions- Netapp Must have a working knowledge of: RHEL-Linux DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP Microsoft Server 2012-2019 Active Directory

Compensation: Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between 150K-170K. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
