Accountable for driving technology planning activities and systems designs to meet the needs of the company business. Responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned to the business and technology strategy, leveraging enterprise components, and the overall advancement of the company technologies. Handle assignments from solutioning, to definition of technical solutions for complex projects. Coordinate with Product Owners, Lead and System Analysts to understand business and functional requirements. Design and architect solutions, conduct code reviews, test, and debug applications. Visualize the solution by understanding the problem statement, preparing the system requirements, business requirements and the design specifications. Coach and mentor developers to follow the company standards and incorporate industry best practices in the applications; guide them in design concepts, technical communication, and Development. Coordinate with technical centers of excellence and the end users for understanding requirements and articulating the solutions. Assist in the development of project plans, specification documents, test plans, and install and release plans. Assist with analyzing existing homegrown business systems to develop technical designs and specifications, break fixes and enhancements. Develop code to meet requirements and specifications, manage source control, deploy, and test code. Document test cases and perform systems and acceptance testing. Troubleshoot production issues (if any) when projects are released. Provide after install support: Questions and helpdesk tickets from users. Attend and participate in project and administrative meetings. This position permits telecommuting with manager approval. Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Plymouth office.
Position Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years of experience in trade compliance software enterprise applications. Additionally, a qualified applicant must have professional experience with:
5 years of architecture experience designing and solutioning business driven applications in Microsoft .NET stack and Azure platforms.
3 years of experience writing with technical and functional specifications.
5 years of experience with hybrid (Azure cloud and on premises) integration architecture patterns for integrating with third party applications using Publish Subscribe patterns and API's.
3 years of experience in Supply Chain (Inbound and Outbound) domains specifically in Sourcing and Procure to Pay applications like Purchase Order Management, Inbound Logistics and AP Invoicing Processes.
1 year of experience in managing and integrating with financial ERP systems.
This position permits telecommuting with manager approval. Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Plymouth office.
$141,898 - $151,000 per year. 401(k), Health, Vision, Dental, and PTO benefits. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
