The Senior Software Developer position is part of our Authentication/Authorization/Billing/Subscriber services, which are critical, revenue driving services for our OTT platforms. The main role of the Senior Software Developer is to effectively develop software and provide technical guidance to business analysts and Product team.
The selected candidate MUST have experience integrating different backend systems/platforms together, with the ability to define the associated implementation requirements for integrations within our own team, and making sure those work for the customer facing application development teams who will consume those services.
Successful applicants will be proficient in C# and REST API development.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend REST API services using C#. Ensure APIs are optimized for performance and scalability to support high volume of request of multiple device types. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API functionality and performance. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our backend services. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience (7+ years) in software development with a strong focus on C#. Proven track record of developing and maintaining RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of backend architecture and design patterns. Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server or NoSQL databases. Knowledge of security best practices for API development. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Compensation
