We are growing rapidly and are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer, Services to join our Boston, NYC, or Denver office. This role reports to the Head of Software Development. In this role, you will: Develop and optimize backend services and APIs using .NET (C#) on Microsoft Azure. Design and implement database solutions with Azure SQL and other Azure database services. Build, orchestrate, and monitor ETL/data pipelines with Azure Data Factory. Ensure data integrity, security, and high performance. Collaborate with product, front-end, DevOps, and data engineering teams. Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments with Azure DevOps. Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize cloud-based systems. Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests for 100% code coverage. Automate and execute tests in CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of backend development experience with .NET (C#). Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL. Proficiency in designing relational databases and writing complex SQL queries. Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud architectures. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps). Solid understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization in cloud environments. Knowledge of git source control patterns. BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Experience writing automated unit and integration tests using frameworks like NUnit or xUnit, with 100% test coverage. Experience setting up and running integration tests against Azure resources. Nice to have: Experience with AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI).
