Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Resident Engineer will conduct site inspections to verify that utility installations and relocations meet project requirements and industry standards, approve work completed by contractors, and recommend acceptance or necessary corrective action. Additionally, this role involves monitoring utility-related costs and ensuring adherence to project budgets.
Responsibilities
Coordinate relocations, new installations, and service adjustments.
Oversee utility-related construction to ensure adherence to design plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Conduct site inspections to verify that utility installations and relocations meet project requirements and industry standards.
Approve work completed by contractors and recommend acceptance or necessary corrective action.
Monitor utility-related costs and ensure adherence to project budgets.
Essential Skills
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction infrastructure projects.
Experience coordinating relocations, new installations, and service adjustments for water, sewer, gas, and electric systems.
Experience with infrastructure projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Large Scale Infrastructure or Transportation related projects.
Experience with local utility companies and municipal agencies.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $240000.00/yr.
